Composition of a hair dryer
Mar 11, 2025
A hair dryer is mainly composed of the following parts:
Motor: The motor is one of the core components of a hair dryer and provides power. A small permanent magnet DC motor is usually selected and equipped with an internal step-down rectifier.
Fan blades: The fan blades are fixed to the shaft end of the motor, sucking in air and generating wind force through the rotation of the motor.
Heating wire: The heating wire is usually installed in the shell cylinder. When the wind discharged by the motor passes through the heating wire, it will be heated to generate hot air.
Casing: The casing protects the internal structure and affects the appearance and use experience of the fan.
Air guide and air inlet filter: The air guide is designed to be flat to ensure that the wind blows out in a straight line; the air inlet filter protects the internal motor and prevents debris from entering.
Power cord: Provides stable power.
Operation switch: Controls the switch operation, wind speed adjustment and temperature adjustment of the hair dryer.
Handle: There are usually two types - folding and upright, which are suitable for different usage scenarios.
