Technical parameters of curling irons
Mar 09, 2025
The technical parameters of curling irons mainly include the following aspects:
Heating rate and temperature control: The heating rate of the curling iron must reach the set temperature within 3 minutes, and the temperature adjustment gear is divided into at least 3 gears (such as 120℃, 150℃, 180℃), and the error range does not exceed ±5℃.
Material requirements: The heating plate of the curling iron must be made of high-temperature resistant materials such as ceramic, titanium alloy or tourmaline, and plastic coatings that are easy to deform or release harmful gases must not be used.
Safety performance: The curling iron must be equipped with an overheating protection device. When the temperature exceeds 180 degrees Celsius, the equipment must automatically cut off the power or stop heating to prevent scalding or damage to the hair. The surface temperature of the handle part must not exceed 45 degrees Celsius after 30 minutes of continuous operation to avoid discomfort in holding.
Electrical insulation: The electrical insulation part must pass a 1500 volt withstand voltage test to ensure that there is no risk of leakage.
Other parameters: For example, the temperature range of the Reva RB-8512-28 curling iron is 140-200℃, the rated power is 56W, the preheating time is 30 seconds, the power supply method is power supply, and the product color is pink.
